Founded in London by Alexandra Popa, Bordelle has profoundly transformed the world of couture lingerieby introducing an approach where underwear becomes a true visual construction. From its inception, the brand has distinguished itself by its ability to blur the lines between lingerie, lingerie harnesses, bodywear, and ready-to-wear. The Bordelle aesthetic is based on instantly recognizable work with satin elastic straps, graphic structures, and 24-karat gold-plated hardware. This combination has become the house's signature and has established Bordelle as a benchmark of contemporary couture bondage. The collections include bras, bodysuits, playsuits and bodices, thongs, open-crotch knickers, suspender belts and waspies, as well as hybrid pieces such as open lingerieor lingerie accessoriesthat can be integrated directly into an evening look. Bordelle is also one of the first lingerie houses to have developed an advanced adjustment system, allowing structured pieces to adapt to various body types through precise settings integrated directly into the construction.

The house develops two main lines: the Signature collections, which have become iconic, and the seasonal collections, which allow for the exploration of new materials, colors, and embroidery techniques. The Signature collections hold a central place in Bordelle's history. Designed around the brand's iconic satin elastic straps, they are continuously expanded to allow clients to complete their sets over the years. The seasonal collections, such as Melusina, push the house's textile work further with custom embroidered tulles, play on transparency, and more experimental constructions. Bordelle also develops a full range of accessories and bondage piecesincluding jewelry, collars, nipple coversand styling elements designed in keeping with the aesthetic of the lingerie collections.
