Long Rope Necklace – FIGURE OF A
This long necklace made of thick 6mm rope combines textures and metallic gleam for a bold and structured design. Knotted with symmetrical interwoven knots in polycotton, it is enhanced with a central row of shiny metallic rings, creating a striking play of contrasts.
The rope ends are carefully finished with caps, while the neckline is adorned with zinc alloy and braided brass finishes, in bronze and iridescent rainbow tones, protected by a transparent coating for lasting wear.
A small carabiner ring ensures closure at the back, guaranteeing easy and secure wearing. Available in several colors.
Shibari - Figure of A Inspiration
In Japanese, the word "shibari" means "to tie." The contemporary meaning of the word describes an artistic form of bondage. Originating from the ancient martial art Hojojutsu and the artist Shunga's torture of Seiu Ito, Shibari was popularized in Japanese erotic magazines of the 1950s. It is now a form of aesthetic bondage practiced worldwide, also known as Kinbaku.
Traditionally, lengths of natural fiber rope 5, 6, or 8 mm in diameter are used. The geometric patterns created with the rope contrast beautifully with the natural curves of the body. The experience of bondage is always a collaboration between the "rigger" and the model, the result of which can explore notions of visual beauty, sexuality, power exchange, relaxation, and bodily challenges.
