The Blueberry Shell Bag by Una Burke, an absolute classic, the Shell Bag was developed for the very first collection and has evolved each season with new colorways and details. Composition: Everything is entirely handmade by designer Úna Burke in her studio in Ireland, using full-grain British and Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide leather and solid gold-plated brass. Vegetable tanning is a more environmentally friendly leather production method, and for this reason, among others, the brand received the Positive Luxury Butterfly Trust Mark: "When a brand successfully completes our assessment process, they receive the Butterfly Mark, which visibly authenticates luxury brands that contribute to a better world."
Care instructions: Do not overexpose to sunlight and avoid contact with moisture, especially water, creams, food, oils, and perfumes. As this item is made from a natural material, variations in color and surface are unique characteristics and not a defect. The texture and tone of the leather are expected to change with age and use.

About the designer Una Burke
Úna established her eponymous brand in 2010 in London, creating both seasonal fashion collections (harnesses, bags, skirts, bracelets...) and sculptural artworks using her traditional leatherworking techniques in her distinctly intricate constructions.
Since 2020, she has been working from her native Ireland. Fashion collections have continued to be concept-driven, with human stories at their core. The influence comes from psychological, military, and medical sources as a physical reference to the warrior spirit within us all. The artworks are figurative in form and stem from this same source of inspiration. They are developed on commission for private art collections, public exhibitions, and museum archives. Úna's work has been exhibited in over twenty countries worldwide, and her clients and collectors include New York designer Phillip Lim, the Simone Handbag Museum in Seoul, the National Museum of Ireland, and Nick Knight's creative laboratory "SHOWstudio."
While studying for her Master's in Fashion Artefact at Cordwainers, London College of Fashion, she produced her iconic "Wearable Art" collection, RE.TREAT, and won the Design Award for Best Static Collection.
Úna's work has been exhibited in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States and regularly appears in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Collezioni, and Numéro.
