Six-Tail Cat O' Nine Tails – FIGURE OF A
Inspired by the famous naval whip "Cat O' Nine Tails," this model revisits history with a Shibari touch. Crafted with six strands of polyester rope, it is adorned with silver metallic beads, enhanced by metal caps, and silver or bronze zinc alloy finishes with brass.
Its compact design allows it to be easily attached to a bag or harness with a carabiner ring, making it an accessory that is as decorative as it is symbolic. Available in several colors.
Shibari - Figure of A Inspiration
In Japanese, the word "shibari" means "to tie." The contemporary meaning of the word describes an artistic form of bondage. Originating from the ancient martial art Hojojutsu and the artist Shunga, Seiu Ito's torture, Shibari was popularized in Japanese erotic magazines of the 1950s. Today, it is an aesthetic form of bondage practiced worldwide, also known as Kinbaku.
Traditionally, natural fiber ropes of 5, 6, or 8 mm in diameter are used. The geometric patterns created with the rope beautifully contrast with the natural curves of the body. The experience of tying is always a collaboration between the "rigger" and the model, the result of which can explore notions of visual beauty, sexuality, power exchange, relaxation, and challenges to the body.
