HOSHI Harness – FIGURE OF A
Inspired by the Japanese word "Hoshi," meaning star, this harness features an emblematic Shibari motif, evoking a five-pointed star that boldly structures the silhouette.
Braided from polyester rope, it is enhanced by polished silver or gunmetal metallic finishes. Its open back highlights the figure, with a closure by carabiner rings at the floating ribs. A carabiner clasp with an extension chain at the back allows for a personalized fit. Available in several colors.
Shibari - Inspiration Figure of A
In Japanese, the word "shibari" means "to tie." The contemporary meaning of the word describes an artistic form of bondage. Originating from the ancient martial art Hojojutsu and the artist Shunga, Seiu Ito's torture, Shibari was popularized in Japanese erotic magazines of the 1950s. Today, it is a form of aesthetic bondage practiced worldwide, also known as Kinbaku.
Traditionally, natural fiber ropes 5, 6, or 8 mm in diameter are used. The geometric patterns created with the rope beautifully contrast with the natural curves of the body. The experience of tying is always a collaboration between the "rigger" and the model, the result of which can explore notions of visual beauty, sexuality, power exchange, relaxation, and bodily challenges.
